J'avoue que ce transfert de la dépouille mortelle du grand-duc Nicolas me laisse perplexe.
Le grand-duc serait enterré dans un quelconque cimetière, celui de Montparnasse ou du Père-Lachaise, j'approuverais cette démarche ; mais il repose dans une église orthodoxe ! Où pourrait-il être mieux ?

There is something terribly, terribly ghoulish about all of this burying-and-reburying of persons long deceased. It may be, perhaps, a form of national therapy to compensate for the many horrors that the Reds inflicted upon the Russian people, etc., etc. Nonetheless, it is egregiously without propriety at best. These persons are long deceased. They have long entered the ages; they have stood before God now for generations.

When I was Japan, for example, the then-Soviet Government made an application to the Japanese Government to have the famous Soviet spy Richard Sorge disinterred from the Tamabochi-mae Cemetery in western Tokyo in order to rebury his remains with pomp somewhere in Moscow. The Japanese Government absolutely refused this request on the grounds that the request was essentially malodorous, so to speak. That was a correct decision on its part.

Soon, the Russian Government will begin seeking to rebury all of those interred in Ste-Genevieve-de-Bois.

At least under Jewish law, it is not permitted to touch nor to rebury the hallowed dead.

Moscow and it's Church is getting back home at any price anything that serve it's propaganda. It is clear that the Patriarchate does not care for "white russian history". But the most surprising is the guilty silence from Daru and Geneva or New York this lack of courage ... Is the best guaranty that Moscow can permit itself anything ! Some years ago fr.John Gueit was expressing hjs worry about exactly all thas is happening now with the russian heritage on the Riviera...

Pour alimenter le débat: la position de la famille du général Wrangel sur le transfert de sa sépulture en Russie, que je partage entièrement.
Il sera temps d'en reparler quand la Place Rouge sera libérée des sépultures bolcheviques qui la polluent et que les rues des villes de Russie ne porteront plus les noms des bourreaux du peuple russe.

Благодарю Вас за письмо от 29 января 2007 г. с предложением о перезахоронении праха генерала барона Петра Николаевича Врангеля в Донском монастыре Москвы. Наша семья глубоко тронута Вашим обращением и сознанием, что за ним стоит и желание тысяч других русских людей. Ваше предложение заставило нас вдуматься в смысл и целесообразность такого шага, взвесить все аргументы за и против, чтобы дать серьезный, аргументированный ответ и объяснение.

Известно, что главная черта характера генерала Врангеля – его принципиальность. Он боролся с большевизмом и порожденной им порочной системой не из чувства классовой ненависти, а из глубокого убеждения, что большевизм есть абсолютное зло, как для России, так и для человечества в целом.

За последние два десятка лет произошли огромные перемены в сознании россиян относительно сущности большевизма и советской власти. Однако, не произошло главного: осуждения этого зла на государственном уровне. В результате, продолжается брожение в человеческих умах, следствием которого является такое положение дел, что при опросах населения в последние годы чуть ли не половина населения России считает, что Сталин – личность положительная.

Генерал Врангель скончался в Брюсселе в 1928 г., но более года спустя был, по собственной воле, изъявленной при жизни, похоронен в склепе русской церкви в Белграде. Там он покоится по сей день, а недалеко, на кладбище, лежат тысячи сослуживцев, чинов его армии, бесконечно ему преданных, которым и он отдавал последние свои силы. Это взаимное доверие главнокомандующего и его подчиненных не имеет пределов – оно не ограничено ни его смертью, ни давностью лет. Как в жизни, так и в смерти, он находится в строю, вместе со своими офицерами, солдатами, казаками. Взять сейчас его – одного – для перезахоронения в Москве, взять его из рядов преданных ему подчиненных (и преданных его памяти потомков их), можно только по очень уважительной причине. Будь он жив, вряд ли бы он сам согласился бросить свою армию для чести ехать в Москву один, зная, что там до сих пор почетное место рядом с Кремлем занимают Ленин и Сталин.

Последние слова генерала Врангеля на русской земле в 1920 г. были об исполнении долга до конца. Как память о генерале Врангеле живет в нас, его потомках, так живет и память о его соратниках, перед которыми долг и завет Главнокомандующего Русской армии не будут выполнены, доколе существует мавзолей на Красной площади и захоронения красных палачей в стенах Кремля. Вспоминается надгробное слово протиерея Василия Виноградова, сказанное у могилы еще в 1928 г., в Бельгии, «Лобызая его священные для нас останки, дадим на них обещание возгревать в себе никогда неугасающую любовь к обездоленной родине и священный огонь непримиримости к сатанинской, богоборческой власти, не идя ни на какие компромиссы и соглашения, от кого бы они не исходили. В мире надо жить, говорит преподобный Феодосий, с врагами своими, но не с Божиими».

Ценя Ваш, Никита Сергеевич, искренний почин, с тяжелым сердцем сожалеем, что время для перезахоронения генерала Врангеля на родине еще не наступило. Генерал Врангель был и остается для многих символом непримиримой, принципиальной борьбы. При всем их историческом значении, ни к Деникину, ни к Каппелю такого отношения среди подчиненных и даже среди врагов, как к генералу Врангелю, никогда не было. До сих пор эмиграция чтит память его и те идеалы, ради которых он боролся. Его борьба не закончена, и преждевременное перезахоронение его лишь умалит значение подвига и жертв, как самого Врангеля, так и всех Белых воинов, отдавших жизнь на благо России.

La désoviétisation d la Russie actuelle se fait, à son rythme, à sa vitesse, que d'aucuns peuvent estimer insuffisante, mais elle se fait.

La Russie actuelle renoue avec son Histoire Chrétienne et Impériale qu'elle intègre de plus en plus dans son espace public, c qui st sans équivalent en Europe dite "Occidental". On peut ne pas toujours partager la vision "barrèsienne" de Vladimir poutine sans pour autant nier ce fait, qui st des plus positifs.

Étrange de voir des gens habituellement "superpatriotes" quand il s'agit d'exclure de "leurs" églises toute présence non-russe se comporter de manière on ne peut plus conforme aux officines mondialistes quand il s'agit de critiquer injustement d'ailleurs, la Russie actuelle et son équipe dirigeante...

The real danger or temptation for Russia today is to close itself to the outside world !!! My previous critic is not as much toward Putin or else, but to the fact that its own Church has a hiding agenda itself for its gains in the West among orthodox and is using the Kremlin to that purpose. This is the case when the manipulation is the other way around , Oh oui !!! But what is striking nowadays is the lack of care or real capacity of understanding or rather an arrogant brushing aside by the Moscow Patriarchate of the ecclesial reality in western Europe, yet the orthodox people in the west, are free for the best or the worst, the statutes of a parish life in Europe have very little in common with that of a parish in Novosibirsk or Tver,except those of the Chursun diocese !!! Thus in fact the Patriarchate cannot give any as it seems wise recommendations to the Kremlin...at what to do with western orthodox communities of russian tradition! So it is why , are used the most primitive manners , again, a good example is what is happening with the Cannes parish now! The russian emigration deserve much respect and the Kremlin has much to gain in working hard with them in another manner !

Few weeks ago another terrible blow was directed to the history of the white emigration,by the MP with fr.Chaplin , Legoida, fr.Toutounov (from France by the way...) when they attacked the legacy of Metropolitan Anthony of Sourozh !!! Who is a real icon of faith and outmost fidelity toward the Russian Church ! Who did so much for the Orthodox Faith everywhere in the Word !!! Who can denied it ? In Moscow, Paris, London ? Yet, who reacted to this cowardly and ugly move ? The site of ACER-MJO ? Forgive me Mary Genko where have you been ? Not, even,an open letter to Patriarch Kirill ? Yet, the only one who reacted and it was predictable was Danielka Struve on his loving for russia site :- )) , (d-st 75) but he did it for the wrong raisons, for him it was a huge gift ,such a good and noble cause to use to point out at what is the MP today morally ...The MP is a small group of people at the realm of the Institution its official figures ...
As in contrast the Russian Church is the lower clergy and it's flock and some bishops (not to greedy)... The reality is else where , perhaps , The Tragedy of the crisis in Ukraine is of such Magnitude in the hearts and minds of all those in the West' who truly care for Russia and Ukraine likewise , that they believe that any critics of the MP today, is a treason...but tomorrow will be to late !!!
